Kevin and Louise are justifiably very proud of the food at the Greyhound, which has received rave reviews.
The open fire and candle lit tables gives a warm cosy feel.
A reporter from the Gazette and Herald described the food as faultless, reserving particular praise for the handmade desserts. The menu is bursting with a wide range of superb value traditional pub classics, meat from the grill, chicken, vegetarian meals and top notch specials. All our steaks are sourced locally from the South West and are matured for 28-35 days to give them a richer, more succulent flavour. With guest appearance from Aberdeen Angus & Welsh black beef.
Our fresh Seafood Specials are delivered from St Mawes Cornwall ranging from whole lemon sole through to turbot & halibut.
We also offer high quality freshly home made stone baked pizzas to eat in or takeaway.
The Greyhound is very family orientated with small portions of many of the main courses available as well as children’s favourites such as fish fingers and burgers, which should suit even the pickiest of eaters.
Kevin and Louise offer free hire of the upstairs function room which seats up to 50 people. This room, with its splendid views of the garden, stone walls, candles and flowers is the perfect venue for a wide range of functions.
