The Duchess of Cornwall will spend part of her 60th birthday touring a village in Wiltshire.
Camilla and the Prince of Wales will visit Bromham which is competing in the Calor Village of the Year competition having won the West England round.
The Royal party will also visit the village Post Office before going on to meet older members of the community.
Local primary school children will also meet the Duchess as she tours the village.
More than 1,000 villages enter the competition, which began in 1987, each year.
Villages must compete on a variety of issues ranging from contribution to the village's young people to the environment and the elderly.
The overall winner of the competition will be announced in London on 16 October 2007.
