BROMHAM CONSULTATION FEEDBACK ANALYSIS: PC Parkes carried out a ‘house to house’ consultation at Minty’s Top and Village centre, a total of 55 properties (38 households completed the form, 8 properties empty, 12 un-contactable over a 2 week period)

The feedback was discussed and it was agreed that the three priorities highlighted as the most requested are as follows:

  1. Anti-Social Behaviour: issues raised are already being addressed by the police, with Kennet and Social workers being involved. The police will continue to monitor and keep an ongoing Log.
  2. Speeding Traffic: MWF workers highlighted. Police will address this. Speed cameras to collect evidence, therefore the situation can be policed for further exploration so that this matter can be addressed.
  3. Parking Issues: Minty’s Top highlighted. Cars are having to park on the pavement. Ownership to be established, some properties are now privately owned. Sarsens as landlords to be involved/enforce parking issues. The Pound/Highfield junction was also discussed.

The Highstreet parking was also highlighted. PC Amanda Parkes to visit the school in September to discuss issues. A traffic Officer to visit.

Post Office Security: DP concerned during holiday periods, discussed the police role/presence. The team covers 7 villages, and tries to alternate visits. AP can be contacted TEL: 0845 4087000 EXT: 737818 + email.

As a result of the consultation, police become involved with action as high lighted in the three options above.
