Christmas
lights are thought to have been responsible for a fire that has given a
Bromham couple the prospect of a miserable Christmas.
Fire crews from Devizes and Melksham were called to the house at Minty's Top, Bromham, around 3.30pm on Friday.
The occupants were evacuated from the house and no one was hurt but
the electricity meter was completey burnt out and it will be some days
before it can be replaced.
Meanwhile, the occupants, Neil Leithes and Dawn Ives and their two-year-old twins Zak and Kelsey will be staying with relatives.
