PARISHIONERS 10 MINUTES
· Residents from Greystones made a complaint concerning the noise caused by motorbikes on land at Wyatts Lake owned by Mr L Beale. Questions and discussion took place between residents and Mr Beale. The problem has been reported to KDC Environmental Officer who will measure and monitor the noise. Use of land is permitted for 28 days in any one year. To be followed up by PB on behalf of Parish Council. |

PARISH PROPERTY REPORT: completed /signed
· Social Centre- it was reported that the telephone in the foyer is not working. For health and safety reasons it was recommended that there should be a phone for emergency use only. PP to discuss with SC Committee.
· Complaint received from C Jones concerning problems at the Pound bus shelter adjacent to her property. Reported to WCC and A Parkes. PB

CEMETERY FEES
FEES,PAYMENTS AND SUMS FIXES under Article 12 of the Local Cemeteries Order 1974, and is approved by Bromham Parish Council at a meeting held on May 12th 2008, to take effect as from JUNE 1st 2008
The Fees, Payments and Sums set out below apply to where a person is to be interred or in respect of whom the right is granted is, immediately before his death, was an inhabitant or Parishioner of the Parish Of Bromham or, in the case of a still born child, where one of the parents is, or at the time of the internment, was such an inhabitant or parishioner. In all other cases, the Fees, Payments and Sums will be doubled where the Exclusive Right of Burial in the grave in question, of the right of constructing the grave or vault, was acquired at the single fee as set out in part 2 and 3.
PART ONE: INTERMENTS:
The fees indicated for the various heads of items 1, 2 and 3 exclude the digging of the grave. (Undertakers to provide this service)
1. FOR THE INTERMENT, IN A GRAVE IN RESPECT OF WHICH AN EXCLUSIVE RIGHT HAS NOT BEEN GRANTED:
· The body of a still born child, or a child whose age at the time of death
did not exceed 5 years……..………………………………………………..… NIL
· The body of a child whose age at the time of death exceeded 5 years,
but not exceed 12 years…………………………………………………..…... £30.00
· The body of a person whose age at the time of death exceed 12 years………. £35.00
2. FOR ANY INTERMENT, IN A GRAVE IN RESPECT OF WHICH AN
EXCLUSIVE RIGHT OF BURIAL HAS BEEN GRANTED
· The body of a still born child, or a child whose age at the time of death
did not exceed 5 years……………………………………………………….... NIL
· The body of a child whose age at the time of death exceeded 5 years..
but not exceed twelve years…………………………………………………. £35.00
· The body of a person whose age at the time of death exceed 12 years……... £45.00

For the interment of cremated remains in a grave, or the interment of

NEW PART OF BROMHAM CEMETERY: Will all Funeral Directors please inform families of the deceased that HEADSTONES ONLY are allowed in this section of the cemetery.
INTERMENTS: Will Undertakers please ensure that their ‘grave diggers’ LEAVE THE SOIL ON GRAVES LEVEL following an Interment.
EXCESS SOIL: Any excess soil following a burial is to be removed by the grave digger to the cemetery ‘waste tip’ through the rear gate of the new section of the cemetery on allotment land. EXCESS SOIL SHOULD NOT BE DISPOSED OF AROUND THE PERIMETER OF THE CEMETERY UNDER THE SHRUBS ETC.
