Bottom side FC Chippenham Youth caused an upset when they beat Bromham 2-1 on their own ground.
Delighted manager Steve Manifold said: “It was no fluke. We deserved to win. The lads worked hard, put themselves about and got their reward.”
After a goalless first half the visitors took a deserved lead with a good strike from Mark Nolan. The home side’s super sub Scott Askew then came off the bench to equalise.
But a cracking free kick from Jack Forrester beat the home keeper to give the bottom club a deserved three points.
Bromham boss Ben Howe said “We were dreadful. They wanted to win it more than we did. Too many of our players had an off day but fair play to Chippenham, they deserved their win.”
