Snow causes road completely unpassable
More than four inches of snow falling on Bromham has left driving almost impossible in some areas.

The M4 is running slowly, the outside lane in both directions is covered in snow.

The A3102 is being closed from John Bently School in Calne right through to Bromham with the road completely unpassable.

The A420 from Chippenham towards Ford is closed at junction with the A46.

The A350 between Chippenham and Melksham is blocked because of an overturned lorry.

The A361 is closed between Beckhampton Roundabout and Hopton Trading Estate in Devizes. Police say the road is sheet ice and not suitable for any traffic.

Salthrop Hill near Swindon will be closed until further notice as it is too dangerous to pass. Three vehicles were involved in an accident there.

There has been a serious crash on the A420 at Gablecross, South Marston.

A jacknifed lorry has blocked the road at the Cross Keys in Corsham.

Police are saying all roads are extremely dangerous and are urging drivers to take care.
