Sudden Cardiac Arrest can strike anyone, anytime, anywhere..
It has been recommended that a large village like ours needs at least 3 defibrillators. The Parish Council has agreed to purchase one to be sited at the Social Centre.
Each defibrillator and public access box cost approximately £1600.00. A committee to raise funds for 2 more is being set up.
Any group, club, pub or organization can sponsor a machine or help raise funds. A demonstration box and defibrillator will be on display on Carnival Day. Any group etc. who would like to have a familiarization session/talk or help to raise funds please contact the Clerk. TEL: 850874
