No intention on the part of the Crown not to proceed with transferring both parcels of land, but have been asked to review structure.
1. Transfer freehold land for Cemetery
2. Crown will grant long lease of the playing field at a peppercorn rent. Documents will need to be drafted.
3. Due to disturbance of previous arrangements, price to reflect - reduced to £4000.
4. Will give an undertaking in respect of PC legal costs.

Meeting to discuss above.
The Crown has now changed its policy regarding the sale of its land, therefore is not willing to sale the land for the Youth football pitch, but will give a long lease at a Peppercorn Rent, but is still in agreement for the purchase of land for the Cemetery extension at the new cost of £4000.00
The Parish Council had already signed and returned the Sale of Agreement and was under the impression that the original scheme was commencing and have applied for and received a PWLB loan which was sanctioned at a Parish Meeting on 27th April 2007. Therefore the PC still objected to this new proposal and discussed this at great length with Mr Drew and Mr Harper, also stating that the new price of £4000.00 for one parcel of land did not reflect the original cost of all the land for £5000.00. The Crown would not negotiate due to change of policy, and felt that the new price and the long lease was fair, providing for the Parish Council’s requirements, but with the Crown still maintaining an interest by retaining the Freehold.
The Parish Council reluctantly agreed to purchase the land for the cemetery extension at the new cost of £4000.00, with a long lease of 50 years at a Peppercorn for the land at the top of the Jubilee Field, also all legal costs incurred by the PC to date to be refunded plus any further reasonable costs.
