| | It was resolved to attempt to purchase 6 defibrillators at a cost not exceeding £10,000. The Parish Council and the PCC has agreed to provide funds to purchase two machines etc.. Mr P Brown reported that a grant could be applied for on a 50/50 basis (£5,00.00) Therefore if we could raise the remaining funds we should be in a position to be able to purchase all 6 machines for the village. It is hoped that purchasing 6 machines would be a good leverage for a considerable discount. Mrs J Partt volunteered to place an article in the Par/Mag. for donations etc. from local organisations. It was agreed to leave the decision of the location of the machines to a later date. The grant application needs to be submitted by November 2009, this was thought to be a priority, to be discussed at the September PC meeting. RH to obtain prices. | PB JP RH |
