19 Minutes of the Bromham u9’s v Trowbridge game passed with Bromham in the lead 4 goals to 0 before our referee called an abandonment to the game due to heavy rainfall and water laying on the pitch!
Saturday 21st saw the U9’s play the re-match in slightly better conditions!
Our young Bromham players were slow to start & with Trowbridge’s tight marking our game was restricted.
It wouldn’t be long before the ’Blues’ warmed to their jobs turning the game around. With simple passing & quick movement on the ball we were soon denying our Trowbridge visitors opportunities.
First goal of the match was delivered from a penalty kick and earned by Yordi Kaashoek.
Tate Cooper diverted a good cross into the back of the net bringing the score to 2-0.
Further reward came from Ollie (2) Yordi, Lewis (2) and an own goal reflected from a corner kick!
Our defenders Kieran, Danny and Jamie worked well together avoiding conceding goals. Adam Price and Harry Clark supported in mid-field.
Over all this game was played with good sportsmanship and team effort by players and supporters from both sides.
Well done All!!
