Penfolds Pet Service was started August last year after the owner left Church Lane Vets in Melksham, where she was the manager and then went on to take exams for an animal nursing assistant and gained a distinction in them.
After looking after clients animals and found a lot of people were having trouble finding reliable people, and at short notice, most dog walkers are out of our area. So she started working with animals 14 years ago at the Cats and Dogs home in Bath and the vet at the time Mr Wrench owner of the vets in Melksham asked if she would like to work for them and this was what happened and work their for 10 years.
She then offered dog walking, visiting looking after cats while owners away also small animals rabbits, pigs, chickens etc.
We will tackle most things just ring and we can usually cater for most circumstances. Also offered is house sitting combining looking after people pets and security of their homes. Equine services is delt with by Bridget who she worked with in the vets she is a fully qualified assistant trainer and has work with horses for many years.
We offer care as they are like our own animals from as small as a mouse to as big as a horse. Being police checked and fully insured for any mishaps.
The name of Penfold comes from my Irish setter who is now 2 yrs old and quite a character.
