More than 160 pupils from St Nicholas School, Bromham and Rowde School learned more about the Easter story by following an Easter Trail in the Rowde and Bromham churches during the last week of term.
The story was told through four displays covering Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Day.
Staff from both schools said they really appreciated having the time to explore the story in a relaxed and informal environment.
Rev John Rees was pleased by the enthusiasm and level of understanding shown by the children.
"They really asked some searching questions," he said, "and we hope they will bring their families back to show them what they have been doing."
The Easter Trails will remain in place in both churches during the Easter holidays and the churches are open every day.
