Condition of the Council Track, New Road: Due to management of the ground the direction of the furrows could contribute to the flooding. Tenant to be consulted, with a view of consulting with the Crown Estate Agent.

·         Allotment Track Repairs - New Road/Westfield: on going

·         Village fingerpost: on going

·         Street Lights High Street /Pound footpath/Loophill on going Jockey Lane-repaired

·         Fingerpost: to be installed

·         Footpath 39: no reply from WC-still obstructed.

SOCIAL CENTRE REPORT/REQUESTED ITEMS/FIRE SAFETY REPORT: In reply to the PC request, The Secretary of the Owl addressed all items. There is still concern over the responsibilities of the committee and PC liabilities as Trustees.  Wansbroughs solicitors to be contacted. Re –legality of the Transfer to The Owl as a private limited business.

BA reported that the first quote for the fire regulations had been received.

KM to inspect the basketball posts and goal posts at the Pound.

RH to contact P Rose concerning outstanding painting of equipment including top rail of the swings.

Bark and slats to be inspected at the Social Centre play area. The fence and rails have been repaired.

Clerk’s Gratuity: :  NEC has noted advice from its legal advisors that contractual obligations entered before 16th Jan.2012 to pay gratuities may still be fulfilled, continuing to accrue years of service whilst under the same contract.  PRO JC SEC AB to continue to pay gratuity to RH  £266.00 to be paid into Halifax account.

Planning Application as presented by J Dillon for solar panels on rear converted stable. NO OBJ

FOOTPATH-GIFT OF LAND?: The gift of land to for the diverted footpath at in Bayntun Close was discussed and a vote was taken: PC proposed to decline as gift - Sec RA+ 8 for proposal, 2 abstained (PM/JC).

PARISH BUSINESS:

JB to administer artificial fertiliser on the sports fields.

Cemetery Gates-paint?

Church Yard Extension: it was reported that National Trust volunteers spent a day clearing and pruning. Some concern about the rubbish content found. RH to contact police to include this area in their rounds.

Battle House: report of building being carried out. There is planning for an indoor swimming pool and office.

Dumping of rubbish at Westfields reported. PM to inspect.

Roundway Self Build Association: legal advice has been taken regarding outstanding costs, with the help of Aster Properties it is hoped a successful resolution will be obtained.
